Fancred is a free social media app for sports fans. The goal of Fancred is to better connect fans with conversations and content surrounding their favorite teams. This is not just an app, it’s a community of sports fans.
Hossein Kash Razzaghi, CEO: “When we decided to build Fancred, we chose to build it in Boston for a reason. I believe that Boston is the greatest sports city in the world. Fancred is excited to partner with Sports Blogapalooza in its effort to grow and enrich New England’s sports blossing community.”
Landon Howell, Head of Strategy & Content: “Before I moved to Boston I was told that the sports blogging community here was a close knit. That was an understatement. This community supports each other to the fullest, and Sports Blogapalooza embodies the best of New England’s sports blogging culture.”

Palooza Unplugged Rocks The Place
Version 3.5 of Boston Sports Blogapalooza, Palooza Unplugged, rocked The Place in Boston this past Saturday. Over 75 New England Sports bloggers, media members (including CSNNE’s Jessica Camerato & Chris Price & Trags From WEEI), fans & companies converged on 2 Broad Street for day of networking, sports talk, drink & WICKED AWESOME Palooza Raffle Prizes.
Palooza Unplugged participants were excited to talk to our sponsors, Fanatics & PlayUp. Fanatics shared ways that bloggers could monetize their content by selling officially licensed sports merchandise. They also gave away some great Boston sports gear that people were stoked to win!
PlayUp preformed demos of their free sports fan interaction application. Want to trash talk someone during a Cricket match or NFL game? Yep, PlayUp has the app for that!
People were also rockin’ FanFeedr badges and lanyards to let the world know that they were a blogger and DAMN proud of it!
After some mouth watering food and tasty beverages from The Place, Palooza Unplugged winded down with some WICKED AWESOME Palooza Raffle Prizes. People walked away with Patriots and Red Sox tickets, an overnight stay at the Cranmore Mountain Lodge, passes to F1 Braintee and much, much more!
This dude won a few MILLION times…..
In closing, we want to thank EVERYONE especially the Palooza Prep Squad which included Joe Gill, Carl Desberg, Anthony DeRoche & Rich Nashawaty (who we found outside the Place just hanging around).

Attending these types of events is crucial in helping PlayUp develop the best possible products for sports fans, so we are thrilled to be participating.”
